Gowan Heritage Farms is a small, family-run farm and studio offering heritage seeds, handcrafted herbal teas, bath blends, and nature-inspired educational materials. Everything we create is rooted in tradition, simplicity, and a deep respect for the land.
What does “heritage” mean to us?

Are your seeds heirloom or open-pollinated?

Are your seeds non-GMO?

Yes! Many of our varieties are well-suited for home gardeners, including beginners. We aim to provide varieties that are reliable and rewarding to grow.
Most of our seeds do well in temperate climates similar to the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, but many perform well in other regions too. Check individual product descriptions for guidance.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Due to the nature of seeds and consumable goods, we generally do not accept returns. If there’s an issue with your order, please contact us—we’re happy to help. We do accept returns on jewelry if you reach out to us within 30 days at alicia@gowanheritagefarms.com
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
